Breast Cancer Vaccine Proves Safe In Clinical Trial

Could it be that a new vaccine is available to prevent the disease from coming back?  Scientists at the Mayo Clinic will begin a trial designed for patients with triple-negative breast cancer.  Triple-negative cancer tumors lack the three most common types of receptors known to fuel breast cancer growth (estrogen, progesterone, and HER-2).  Learn more from USA Today’s interview with Dr. Edith Perez from the Mayo Clinic.  http://www.usatoday.com/videos/news/nation/2015/02/03/22810889/
