Beating Cancer Is On The Rise – HOORAY!

By June 11, 2015 Blog, In The News

The impact that cancer has on our society is huge, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.  New statistics show the the number of people living beyond a cancer diagnosis reached 14.5 million in 2014 and is expected to rise to 19 million over the next decade.  Cancer deaths among women decreased 1.4%  per year from 2002-2011 according to the Annual Report to the Nation on the Status of Cancer published in March 2015.  While the number of cancer survivors has increased there is still much work to be done in the war against cancer.
